Dealing with Creditor Lawsuits

The majority of garnishments processed in the Ontario Small Claims Court result from a debtor not filing a defence to a claim against them.  Sadly, many of these debtors erroneously believe that there is nothing that can be done if they are being sued by a lender.  As a result of such inaction, many debtors end up losing control over how much they ultimately owe and how it is to be repaid.
