HOURS OF OPERATION: Please note that while the administration office of the Richmond Hill Small Claims Court opens at 8:30am and closes promptly at 5:00pm counter service is only provided between the hours of 9:00am to 11:00am and 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
JURISDICTION: Generally speaking, the Ontario Small Claims Court has jurisdiction to hear lawsuits that involve claims for money or the return of personal property for $35,000 or less. Certain exceptions do apply. Please note court staff cannot give you legal advice.
